Stone Creek Bottom
Our journey started when we went on the hunt for our forever property. We found an unfinished barndominium on several acres in the same area where we have raised our boys since they were born. We sold our neighborhood home and moved to the woods. After my dad passed, we moved my mom onto our property having her own house separate from the main house. So, it really is a family affair around here.
Over the last few years I’ve gotten away from the woodworking that once was Stone and Sons Workshop. Now, with the 40 acre timber farm and all that goes on with taking care of the land and my family I can’t devote my time to strictly woodworking projects anymore. Instead, We are now Stone Creek Bottom, more of a homesteading environment.
To give you an idea of what we do around here I’ll list some activities. There is lots of tractor time doing things like cutting grass, brush hogging, taking care of the driveway, cleaning up downed trees, etc. I do have a shop where we still build things, but nothing like my SSW shop. We also like to hunt, shoot guns and bows, hit the golf ball around, ride the side by side, hang out on the back porch or around the firepit and our favorite thing is to have friends over and grill.
So that’s what to expect from Stone Creek Bottom. We will share content as we are doing things instead of the monotonous schedule we once followed. It’s less stressful this way (for us) and is more enjoyable (for us) to share in the moment.
Below are ways you can support what we do. You can find all the plans from SSW, our YouTube videos, Amazon affiliate links to the tools I use and other gadgets we use around the farm. Thank you for sticking with us through the years and hopefully many more.
